- 6th District City Council candidate Willie Hilliard calls for Tavares Floyd to drop out of the race after Floyd has a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week- it was a steady stream of reports that Floyd may have misrepresented his campaign contributions, is not a licensed attorney nor a funeral home owner as claimed , is not apparently related to George Floyd , and looks to have wrongly filed for travel reimbursement while serving on Family and Children’s Trust Fund of Virginia

- A flyer making the rounds of the 8th District claims that Frank Wilson – challenger to incumbent Reva Trammell for the City Council seat – does not live in the district and is instead using a church-owned property as a decoy address. Wilson says this is “a narrative that I would like to have the opportunity to rebut."
