If you focus on the local elections you don't have to think about that other one
Election season kicked off last night with a Mayoral debate last night at VUU; there is another one on Wednesday at Dogwood Middle School in the Fan.
The ballots have been set for this fall's Richmond City Council and School Board races. We have a list HERE of all of the South Richmond districts with candidate links, socials, and the VPAP $$$ reporting.
Congratulations to Sarah Abubaker who will be the next 4th District City Council representative, Stephanie Lynch who will again serve for the 5th District on City Council, and to Shavonda Dixon and Shonda Harris-Muhammed who will continue to represent the 9th and 6th Districts on the School Board.

On the back of the Exchange is the Springhill Seed Library – a volunteer-run seed-sharing resource based on the ‘Share What You Can & Take What You Need’ model. There is also a Free Plant Stand & a Plant Pot Exchange!
If have any of the items that folks can use, swing by and drop off “seeds, plants, nursery pots, pantry items or books” in the designated spot. Per @springhillseedlibrary, pantry items are always needed.
